Welcome!

Welcome to NanoFate.us! This website is dedicated to the anime series Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha. Our purpose is to serve as a community for the fans of this series to have a good time together, and to share and provide translations of manga, doujinshi, novels and news.

This is the current progress of our translation projects:

  1. [ahAha] Al-Hazard VI: Translation on hold.

The translation of The Legend of the Sword of the Day and the Sword of the Night is complete. Don't miss it!

Raws: You can download the scans from our users or share your own raws (scanned by yourself or that you got from some other site) in this thread (all ages), or this thread (nsfw content). Translated doujins are here.

Editor? I should be able to help out starting next week if you still need someone.

If you can live with my usual slow speed and my easily being distracted by games and similar, then I could look at some things starting in about two weeks time when I am done with my term paper assignment.

Is there anyway I can ask for raws of those doujins mentioned above?
Are they uploaded somewhere?

Thanks KannaRei! all the help is welcome~ If you want I can add you to our mailing list, there we post all the information about our translation projects, if you're busy maybe you can occasionally read it and try yo help with specific issues that we always find in every doujin or chapter of Das.

That would be great raizoo, our current editor said that she is having familiar problems and she won't be able to edit anything in a while, so your help will be very appreciated by us. If you want when you have time you can pick something from the doujin list and I can send you the raws + script, and/or if you want I can add you to the mailing list so you can get the things directly from there and be updated with what the translation group is doing.

Most of them should be here, or here.
You can ask us for the raws if you want to see something that is not in those threads before it gets released in English, but if it's not for working in the scanlations I think it would be better if people wait.

In case you were waiting for me to tell you to go ahead and add me to your mailing list then you no longer have to wait. Thought I would tell you, since my assignment finished las week and I did not receive any mail yet.

It's nice to hear that KannaRei.

Do you have a gmail account? I can add you to our mailing list with the mail that you registered to this site, but if you want to check the backlog in our mailing list and see for example our raws thread, you should access the web with a gmail account. With other mails you will only receive the new messages in your inbox.

It's your decision. If you want you can send me a PM with the mail direction that you want in the list.

Take care~

No, I do not have gmail, only that one address I registered with here. Just add that one to the list and I will look through it when it arrives.
I have an old mail from you from back when I translated second first kiss though, but I do not know how recent that list is.
Oh and with my new computer I even have enough HD space to work on more and bigger things. Not that that would increase my speed in any way.

What you mean? I remember exchanging mails with you back then regarding to that doujin, but did I add you to our mailing list? Or you meant that I sent you a list of doujins? Sorry, it's hard to keep track of everything now that we have 30 members in the list... (though most of them are inactive >.<)

It contained a list of doujinshi, but since I never received any status updates or similar I assume that I was not added to the mailing list seeing the add mail I just received I can safely say, that I was not added back then.

Nice, thanks Raizoo. Please give me a mail address and I'll send you the scripts and raws of Harmony and Sweet Sweet Time from Tokoharu, or if you want you can register an account here and I can check your mail address there.

Most raws are here and here, if you want something specific that is not there please post the title.

Was going to offer my services but if you've already got raizoo, then I think you're covered. If you still need my services, I'm here if you need me.

EDIT: Actually looks like you have a lot of stuff piled up. Feel free to contact me if you want the help. Get me on my blog or send me an email.

Hello, :)
I've always wanted to be an editor. I have basic knowledge on Photoshop, although, I have no experience in editing, I am very willing to be taught, and I could also help in proof-reading, if you need it.

(I thought it might be time I come out from the shadows. X3!)

Ah, not sure if the recruit is still happening but, if there is still a need...
I don't mind assisting in editing and light translation (webcomics, pictures etc). I've done editing a few times and am slowly progressing ways in my Japanese. Sadly, I can't promise much between my skill and what you may be looking for but, I am more than willing to assist how I can. Well, when I am at a stable internet connection - that is.

Hi Vita, welcome to our site!

More help is always appreciated in our commuity and translation group, if you want we can add you to the mailing list of our translaton group to see if you can contribute with something there, or if you want to do simple things I think that in our gallery there are a few images or short comis that are partially or fully translated and can use someone to edit them or complete the translations.

See you~

I would like to be added the mailing list, hopefully I can be of some use. I'll be checking through the gallery to see what I might be able to contribute too :)

Hi~

Do you guys still need translators? I don't know if I can contribute much since my Japanese isn't really up to scratch (JLPT 3~2 standard) but I'd like to help out where I can...

Hi,

I was wondering if you guys need a new editor / potential translator (I speak Chinese and know some Japanese as well). Just wanted to help out a site that I have used (anonymously) for a while now.

Also, thought I would try translating/editing the first page of June Bride (1st part) just for kicks xD

I'm probably better off editing than translating though.

Hi prime!

It's nice to hear that you're interested in joining the group. So you can translate from Chinese and Japanese? If you speak Chinese, it would be great if you were a frequent visitor of Yamibo, apparently they got raws and stuffs that we're missing, or that they only post directly translated in Chinese. If you're not, don't worry.

Things haven't been going too fast in the translation group lately, but I don't know if we need more people involved in the active projects... well, maybe when we have something new active you can give an extra hand, or start a project by yourself as the first translator if you feel confident enough and you have a doujin that you would like seeing translated. Extra editors are always welcome, the preview page that you posted still needs some work (color leveling, cropping, the gutter shadow, and probably the typesetting), but there is always place for learning new things ^^

If you would like to join the group and our mailing list, please tell me and I'll add your gmail mail to it.

Wait, was that not because our editors are all busy editing stuff? I said I would do both June Bride volumes as soon as Education is released because of that. If we get a new and free editor willing to edit it I can start on the translation immediately.

Mh... about our editors, raizoo seems to be busy and she still has to Quality Check a couple of doujins, so probably we won't be counting with her in some time. Maria/Konagami is going to edit "The correct way of doing O-Education", so technically our only free editor at the moment is Jumpy-kun. If we get a script done we can probably ask either him or prime when we add him.

Hi,

Yea, I can easily translate from Chinese to English and I do visit yamibo quite a bit for their doujinshi/fanfiction. Most of their doujinshi lately are yamibo only though (I could ask I suppose if there is one you would like to use, but I'm not too well known there, so no promises)

And yea, please add my email to your list, I'll do what I can to help and sure would like to learn more about editing.

@prime_time
I would have a favour to ask, could you ask the person named 闪光家族大家长 who post scanlations in chinese section for japanese raws for these doujins?
http://www.yamibo.com/viewthread.php?tid=125126
http://www.yamibo.com/viewthread.php?tid=126730
http://www.yamibo.com/viewthread.php?tid=129010
I suppose these are only doujins which interest me after checking all of them in their section.
Of course you can tell him he can use japanese scans I posted here at NanoFate doujin section in return freely.
Or simple if you would be personally able to translate them into english from chinese scans for a permission to do it.

I have around 16 NanoFate related doujins coming in few weeks, so yeah more translators/editors are always welcomed in this yuri fandom.

I totally agree with this request! I think it would be nice if we got the raws of these doujin, I would like to see them translated. Or at least the first and third one.

I'll send him a pm through Yamibo, will let you know if/when he replies.

Edit: He said we are free to use them and any other ones. If its directly from Chinese to English, he can give them to me now (ones without the water-marks that says yamibo only). If its raws, he will have to ask permission from where he got them so that will take some time. Do you want to wait for the raws? or we can just use the non-watermarked Chinese ones which I (or someone else who knows Chinese) can translate them.

It would be good if they can give us the raws, in case that we end up translating something. We can translate from Chinese too if you (or someone else) is interested in in translating one doujin and knows Chinese, but it's better to edit the doujin from the original raws.

Well I don't know why but recently I got a real NanoFate illness ;)

The easiest way to buy doujins if you don't know anyone in Japan who could buy them and send to you or simply online shops aren't allowing international shipping is to use deputy service like I do.
http://www.goody-japan.com/
I order from them and they really have low commission fees.
And which is important the person I contact use proper english so communication is not a problem.

Only shipping is kind of expensive thing which annoys me, so I try to bundle all orders into one package and send it by SAL mail as one.

These are shops which I mostly browse for Nanoha content(already set to Nanoha doujin genre).

Also these google groups are kind of messy ><

Indeed. That's why I only read the new messages from my mail and almost not visit the page, but I guess new members will have to check the googlegroups page to read the backlog.

And thanks for the info ShiroAka, we have a P.O. Box in USA to import things from there, but nothing in Japan.

Hi, on your new/recent post of the nanofate dojinshis that you released today, I saw on the end credits that you guys wanted an artist to do something special for the release of Das Resultat Sagt Alles. I might be interested in doing it but how special do you want it? An illustration, a mini comic or something?

P.S - thanks for your hard work on the novel for those who did it!

What is the original Language of the Novel?
If it's german as the Titel implies could you please point me where to download it.

Thank you

The original language is Japanese, only the title (and a few words in the story) are in german.
