I don´t know where to post this, so it ins´t correct, sorry.
Well, like the tittle of the thread, I want to know if anyone knows a website where they explain how to make Bardiche, because I will make one for a cosplay the next week (yeah, I know I haven´t to much time xD).
If there isn´t any website, well, I try my best and improvise xD (few years ago, I made a spear and Lord of the Rings´s helmet on my own xD).
i dont know if this can help you but check here:

here you have a complete description of how to make a bardiche and the materials you need.
when you finish it you should have something like this:
Warning: the final product may not be exactly like the one in the video example, some features may not be included XD have a nice day!
PD: that sure was a video O_O
PD2: in the worst case scenario, here is a video of how to make a unactive version of bardiche:
enjoy!
I remember watching that Bardiche video awhile ago. Soooo cool~
I spoke to a professional cosplayer one time and asked her for suggestions on making props, specifically a scythe. She said for the handle, use a shower curtain rod. You should be able to buy it at a local retailer. A quick google shows that they sell it at Macy's, Sears, and Walmart. Keep the material in mind when buying one. You don't want to walk around w/ a heavy metal rod. There should be plastic one's I believe.
For the top of the scythe, she said to buy a foam board. You can get them at staples. Also google foam boards, for an idea of what it looks like and how much it might cost as well as other retailers that sell them.
Once you have the board, you'll have to do a little work. Use a pencil to draw out where you're gonna cut the foam. Then cut it(not sure what you should use to cut it). Attach it to the rod in some way. Might have to do some painting and cutting, but that should put you off to a good start.
Not bad at all Nura! It's certainly not an easy weapon to reproduce and you did a fine job. Now be very careful during the convention (or wherever you want to bring it) since it's fairly long. I also hope you manage to make it not too heavy so it won't break Σ( □|||).
It's nicely done, good job !
Thanks so much for the bardiche pictures. im gonna make bardiche assault. i needed to see how the bottom looked and your pictures really helped. i went crazy yesterday and i sat on the computer for hours just trying to look for a tutorial. (and by the way they dont have one sadly...) i think the assault form will be a bit harder to make and its gonna take a lot of wonderflex or friendly plastic...
oh * _ *
looking kinda good
now go make us proud make those hueg zamber
and chop something ~
hahahah.... way to make us proud... im trying to make one and this website is totally gonna help because im trying to cosplay as Fate too. i <3 this website! go nanofate.us!!!!
lol not bad! wish i could make somehting like that >.>
Hope you hav fun XD
Ooh. Looks really nice. I'm very impressed with the axe portion. Looks like it was complicated to make. And you did a good job of recreating it.
Impressive, Nura! Are you going to the cosplay event with someone wielding a Raising Heart? X3
I thought it was Raging Heart...
I don't think you're the only one. IIRC the fansubs I downloaded (proud purchaser now) also misinterpreted it as Raging Heart as well.
*gasp* None knowing about Nanoha?! Thats something new, I mean...
how can you not know about nanoha?!?!?!? its the best anime in the world!!
Can someone please, please, please tell me how i can make Bardiche and Raging Heart without all the fancy stuff???? all i need it to do is move it around like this one vid of Graf Eisen. it looked a little easier to make than all the fancy stuff added. so someone please tell me before cosplay actually starts!!!!
Thanks. your a big help cause the internet is not working for me.
this is my new favorite website

Totally AWESOME, dude!!
LOL, Alcon contact lens bottle for Baradiche... to think, I once worked for Alcon, no joke! (Their headquarters is in Fort Worth, where I once lived)
Thanks a lot. this website is a serious help and the people who are commenting are making it better. and i dont think its weird if a guy cosplays as a girl. it means you are an extreme cosplayer!

Thank you, Zerovirus ^^. Well, the Bardiche on the video is very professional xD, I will make something less ambitious, thought.
